First Energy Ball installed on Multi Family Building:

The Energy Ball V100 was just installed at Linden Town Homes, at 85th and Linden Ave N, Seattle, WA.  The system was installed by team members of Northwest Windpower which included; William Fidler of AMC Electric, and Gary Noyes of NW Pacific Development the building owner and developer.  LDC, Inc was responsible for the design and structural engineering of the roof top mounting system.  This installation marks the turning point for introducing small wind into urban areas in and around the City of Seattle, which was made possible by the hard work and passion of Seattle council members and the Mayors office, for their dedication and commitment to making Seattle a sustainable and energy efficient City.  Where other City's talk, Seattle is taking action by passing this new zoning code that allows 10 foot height exception above existing height limits for allowing small wind.  A special thank you to Charlie Cunniff, and the Office of Sustainability for his efforts in helping to spearhead this effort to its fruition.
